About The CEO John Edoka Abah
John Edoka Abah is a Nigerian American film producer, director, and writer building an independent studio between two film capitals. He studied Film Production at Santa Monica College in California and is based in Los Angeles, where he develops and produces African and Nollywood rooted feature films for both African and international audiences.
John's work is drawn from the textures of everyday Nigerian life — family, faith, humor, and the quiet tension between tradition and ambition — shaped by an American filmmaker's eye for craft and structure. EJohn Productions currently has six features in various stages of development and production, from Lagos to the diaspora.
Beyond the set, John is a registered nurse currently practicing in Los Angeles — work that shares the same drive behind his filmmaking: a passion for helping people and discovering talent
